The evening walk after dinner here could be made along the port over the pier, along the town?s coast park or the bay where a beautiful church is situated.
Close to the town is the Ropotamo natural preserve popular with the wide variety of flora and fauna. Here you can take a boat trip to enjoy the nature and reach the delta of the river poring into the sea.
Papia peak is another landmark of the region, being the highest peak on Strandja elevation (502m). Here, on this green forestry peak, could be found remains from an ancient fortress.
Along with the standard water sports and sunbathing, the area is ideal for yachting, eco and ethno tourism, photo safaris and mountain walking.
